Tips to Treat Heat Rash using Homemade Remedies
Apply a cold compress
Firstly it is best to use a cold compress because it actually helps to cool the skin down. For this, you can use ice cubes or any cold cloth and put it on the affected area. By doing this after a few minutes you will feel that it will reduce redness, as well as itching.
Note: You can’t grasp the ice in your hand for a long time so here we will suggest you warp in any piece of cloth or towel. Don’t leave the ice on your body for a long time period, because it can stop the circulation of your blood.
Take a shower with cold water
Taking bath with cool water may also help you with your problem. In fact, a shower cools your skin & helps to soothe itchy skin.
Avoid sun exposure
In summers, you have to live in cool places like under fans and air conditioners. The hot air and the sun’s heat may not help you in treating heat rash. Try to stay at home during day time.
Don’t use tight or heavy dresses
In the summer season, it’s your own responsibility to wear lightweight, and breathable clothes. It will decrease the chance of heat rash.
Bathe in baking soda
Here we have an amazing remedy for you. Before taking bath with simple water, you have to add a small quantity of baking soda into your bucket. It helps in improving the skin itching & irritation as well. We hope it will very help full for you.
Sandalwood has the properties to heal itches and irritations. Its properties help to relieve heat rash as well.
For using it, you have to, first of all, make a powder of Sandalwood, (if it is not possible for you so then you can buy it from stores). Add 1 tablespoon of Sandalwood powder into rosewater or you can also use the simple water as well. So make a paste of these two elements then apply it to your heat rash. After 10 to 15 minutes wash it with cool water.
Note: Before using this paste firstly apply its small quantity on your wrist, if you see any reaction there like any redness or itching so don’t use it on your heat rash or any other area of your body. If nothing appears on the wrist after applying the paste so then you can use it on your skin.
